Desc: Theresienstadt sieht aus wie ein Curort: Directed by Bernd Neuburger, Nadja Seelich. In 1948, just before her 75th birhtday, Josefa Stibitzova recalled her memories of her stay in the Theresienstadt concentration camp onto a tape recorder. This tape recording is the only commentary in the film. Nadja Seelich, the producer and Josefa Stibitzofa`s granddaughter links the words to private photographs from 1942-1948, archive photographs from 1943-1945, and film footage from Theresienstadt. A documentary film from the Jewish settlement area, correspondance cards written by Josefa Stibitzova during her time at Theresienstadt, and transport lists from 1942-1944. These pictures are expanded through the inclusion of associative shots (a tunnel, the sky), and clips from an educational film about silkworm breeding. From a total of 34 minutes of recorded tape provided by Josefa Stibitzova, 28 minutes are included.
